The study </span><span lang="EN-US">participants were</span> <span lang="UK">girls </span><span lang="EN-US">aged </span><span lang="UK">7</span> <span lang="UK">(n = 10), 8 (n = 10), 9 (n = 15), 10 (n = 15); boys </span><span lang="EN-US">aged </span><span lang="UK">7 (n = 10), 8 (n = 10), 9 (n = 15), 10 (n = 15). </span><span lang="UK">The children and their parents were informed about all the features of the study and </span><span lang="EN-US">gave their consent</span><span lang="UK"> to participate in the experiment. </span><span lang="EN-US">To solve the tasks set, the following r</span><span lang="UK">esearch methods</span><span lang="EN-US"> were used</span><span lang="UK">: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical testing and methods of mathematical statistics for research results processing.</span></p></div><div><p class="-"><strong><span lang="UK">Results. </span></strong><span lang="UK">According to the </span><span lang="EN-US">testing</span><span lang="UK"> results, there are statistically significant gender differences in the indicators of the </span><span lang="EN-US">following </span><span lang="UK">tests: </span><span lang="EN-US">“</span><span lang="UK">30 </span><span lang="EN-US">m</span> <span lang="EN-US">running</span> <span lang="EN-US">from</span> <span lang="EN-US">a</span> <span lang="EN-US">standing</span> <span lang="EN-US">start”</span> <span lang="UK">–</span><span lang="UK"> 9 (p = 0.001), 10 (p = 0.013) years; </span><span lang="EN-US">“</span><span lang="EN-US">Standing l</span><span lang="UK">ong jump</span><span lang="EN-US">”</span><span lang="UK"> –</span><span lang="UK"> 7 (p = 0.005), 8 (p = 0.004), 9 (p = 0.001), 10 (p = 0.015) years; </span><span lang="EN-US">“</span><span lang="UK">4x9</span> <span lang="UK">shuttle run</span><span lang="EN-US">”</span> <span lang="UK">–</span><span lang="UK"> 8 (p = 0.009), 9 (p = 0.006), 10 (p = 0.011) years; </span><span lang="EN-US">“Rope jumping”</span> <span lang="UK">–</span><span lang="UK"> 10 (p = 0.049) years; speed index </span><span lang="UK">–</span><span lang="UK"> 9 (p = 0.001) years; speed </span><span lang="EN-US">strength</span><span lang="UK"> index </span><span lang="UK">–</span><span lang="UK"> 7 (p = 0.001), 9 (p = 0.0001), 10 (p = 0.03) years.</span></p></div><div><p class="-"><strong><span lang="UK">Conclusions.</span></strong> <span lang="EN-US">It was found that differences exist, but they are different in each age group. At the age of 7, children do not differ much in terms of gender, but with age, there is an increase in the number of structural elements of speed fitness, in which the indicators of girls and boys are statistically different.</span></p></div> ER -
